Our Mission & Vision

Our vision and mission is to help connect people to faith

It is our desire that ALL come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ and have a personal relationship with him. As a congregation we gather together for praise, worship and study the word of God regularly with expectations of Holy Spirit abiding with us. We pray and hope for all to become stronger through the salvation of Jesus Christ!
Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

We understand the importance of outreach in our communities.
Jesus commands us to love our neighbors.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor’s as thyself. Matthew 22:39. Knowing this we understand we are to love others as much as we love ourselves. This shows the true love of Christ and will draw others to his family.

Our Pastor: LaWanda Lambert

Our Pastor: LaWanda Lambert

As a professional hair stylist, LaWanda is gifted at creating beauty makeovers both in the natural and in the spirit. She also spreads her love through working with high school students in a multicultural environment as a substitute teacher in the public school system. Pastor Lambert is a proud native of Washington, DC and has been a resident of Prince George’s County Maryland for most of her life. She is a graduate of Fairmont Heights High School and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Breakthrough Bible College and Theological Seminary. Pastor Lambert continues to strengthen herself through educational training and has received certifications in Leadership Development and Bible Teacher Certification.  Pastor Lambert is a daughter of Tony & Cynthia Brazelton Ministries (TCBM) of Suitland, Maryland. Pastor Lambert is a wife of 31 years to the distinguished Anthony M. Lambert. They have four amazing children, two daughters-in law and two granddaughters.

Pastor LaWanda Peoples-Lambert is a spiritual powerhouse in the Kingdom of God. For over 20 years, Pastor Lambert has perfected her gifts of prayer, preaching, deliverance, exhortation and compassion, bringing restoration, healing and hope to the broken. As pastor of God’s Anointed Evangelistic Ministry, Inc., established in 2005, Pastor Lambert has used her creative and artistic gifts to inspire others to dream big and believe in God and in themselves again.

As a local and national speaker, Pastor Lambert has spoken at Revivals, Prayer Breakfasts, Women’s Conferences, Mother’s Day Teas and Pastoral Anniversaries just to name a few. Under her Virtuous Women’s Outreach Ministry, Pastor Lambert has hosted numerous anointed and life-changing conferences such as I Forgive Me, Meeting in the Ladies Room, A Measure Faith, Count Your Blessings, Leadership 101, The Youth Experience, Young Girls Run On, Retreat, Women of Influence and many more. Pastor Lambert also has the favorable reputation allowing renowned preachers to bless her conferences each year.

As a child, LaWanda was challenged with a learning disability which greatly impacted her self-esteem. Although she was told by a teacher “I feel sorry for you” and “you will never make it in society” today she uses those past challenges as a springboard of faith to show others that no matter what life may bring you, you can do all things through Christ which gives you strength (Philippians 4:13.)  Pastor Lambert’s leadership has often placed her center stage as clergy in the political arena, academic settings, collective empowerment groups and other professional networks.

Testimonials

The Virtuous Women’s Conference “I Forgive Me” was "breathtaking" All of the speakers showed out! Each message was for and about me. Pastor Lambert is not only "Spiritual" but "Savvy". Pastor has always been a strong foundation in my life. She helps my family now in the present, and those who have earned their wings. Pastor Lambert is that ear and eye, someones who's always on that first line of battle. I was in such a blur when my mom passed away. Pastor said "hand it over to God."

M. Harrell

“I Forgive Me” was a powerful experience where like minded women of God had an opportunity to leave the cares of the world behind so that we could reflect on God’s goodness, remember His grace, and renew our commitment to the faith. The teacher preachers poured their hearts into each message. They were transparent, open, and honest about their “Lord Forgive Me” moment(s). We prayed together. We sang together. We cried together. We rejoiced together. Our cups were filled! Our hearts burned! We were strengthened to be who God called us to be and to do what God called us to do. I look forward to the next one!

M. Watts

The Virtuous Women Outreach conferences have been a blessing to me. Being around women who come with an expectancy of God’s favor, anointing and love just where they are in their lives. This conference will truly impact your life as it has impacted mine.

God’s Anointed has blessed my life on many occasions. I always feel the love of God when I attend.

Our Beliefs & Values

We believe the importance of outreach in our communities.
Jesus commands us to love our neighbors.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Matthew 22:39. Knowing this we understand we are to love others as much as we love ourselves. This shows the true love of Christ and will draw others to his family.

Faith

We believe…
By the Holy Spirit, and relying on the blessings of God, we do here and now, by this act, constitute ourselves a Church of Jesus Christ to perform His service and to be governed by His will, as revealed in the New Testament.

Ministries

We believe…
By the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God, angels, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into a covenant with one another, as one Body in Christ.

True God

We believe…
There is only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, personal, and spiritual Being, The Creator, Redeemer, and Perfection. To Him we owe the Highest Love, Reverence, and Obedience.  The Eternal God reveals himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.   (Gen. 1:1; John 1:12)

God’s Image

We believe…
Man was created by the special act of God, in His own image, and is the crowning work of His creation.  The sacredness of human personality is evident in that God created man in His own image and in that Christ died for all. (Gen1:26; Rom. ‪5:19‬)

Salvation

We believe…
Salvation is deliverance from penalty of death and sin.  Grace constitutes salvation. Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.  (Ephesians 2:8)

Sanctification

We believe…
Sanctification is the experience, beginning in regeneration, by which the believer is set apart to God’s purpose, an is enabled to progress toward moral and spiritual perfection through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in Him.  (Proverb ‪4:18‬)

Salvation

What does it mean to be “saved”?

To except Jesus into your heart, serve him and turn from sin. We all have sinned – For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

Why do I need to be saved?

In the beginning, sin entered to the world through Adam and Eve’s poor choice in the garden.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5:12

What does sin do?

Sin carries a price – penalty spiritual death; eternal separation from God. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

What can I do to get rid of sin?

Repent and ask for forgiveness of your sins, so that you can receive salvation and begin walk in fellowship with Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

How can I receive salvation?

You must believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and he rose on the 3rd day with all power in his hands.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

How do I receive Jesus into my life?

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
If you repeat this; Dear Jesus forgive me of my sins, I believe you died on the cross for my sins. I believe you rose on the 3rd day with all power in your hands. I invite you into my life, I receive you as Lord over my life and I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for saving me. Hallelujah!!! Amen!
